Satellite Gallery is a new Depot Artspace gallery in St Benedicts Street. Satellite is a light and spacious gallery with polished concrete floors. It is located on the corner of Newton Road and St Benedicts St and is at street level with great visibility and easy access.

The gallery is a professional exhibiting space for selected practising artists. While we have a selection process and a professional standard, Satellite embodies The Depot Artspace’s philosophy of inclusiveness. Satellite provides talented emerging artists with possibilities to exhibit and sell their work, an alternative to the currently prevalent dealer gallery culture of Auckland City. Satellite also provides the public of Auckland City with an accessible space in which to view the talent of local emerging artists and the possibility of buying original artworks for an affordable price.

Satellite is open from 11.00 - 7.00 every Tuesday 10.00 - 5.00 Monday to Friday and 10 - 3 Saturday and Sunday. We have exhibition openings every second Tuesday evening from 5.30 - 7.00pm
