Satellite Gallery is an offspring of Devonport’s Depot Artspace and provides a nourishing environment in a refined space for emerging professional artists.

We exhibit a diverse range of contemporary art work and strive to resonate freedom, of expression and appreciation, to artists and their audiences.

Satellite’s primary interest is in how it is able to best serve the artist it exhibits and ensure that the benefits procured from the exposure and sale of their work are primarily theirs.

Mark L. Watts, BA Hons, MA&D

Mark is Satellite's Gallery Manager. With a passion for art and a dedication to rising talent, Mark manages Satellite operations and works with artists to bring exhibitions to life.

Nicolas Baxter

Nicolas Baxter is Satellite’s Managing Director. He is based at the Depot Artspace and provides guidance and management support to the gallery.

Keyeele Lawler Dormer, BVA

Keyeele is Satellite’s Gallery Assistant. Keyeele is responsible for the management of the Satellite Pods and assists Gallery Manager Mark Watts in the running of the gallery, including administration, and exhibition openings.

On Saturdays Satellite is staffed by our charming in-house studio tenants; designer Laura Cibilich and digital artist Paula Jones.
