Satellite Gallery: Welcome to 2012

With a great history and so much potential to be realised, we are proud to announce that Satellite Gallery will soon be opening its doors to you in 2012 with a fresh new take on how to experience a gallery. We are keen to focus on shaping a programme that meets the art community’s needs through the presentation of contemporary visual art experiences within an accessible and open environment.

Whilst living in one half of the gallery space, co-curators Justin Jade Morgan and Katrina Rose will be setting up a programme of events and exhibitions through the collaboration and fostering of relationships with individuals and groups who exist on the fringes of the arts community in New Zealand and abroad.

Satellite’s close relationship with the Depot will also continue and both will remain grounded in the philosophy ‘creating an environment that encourages creating…’
